ABOUT US
Our practice has proudly served the Western Australian community since 1971. The first two clinics were established in Perth CBD and Claremont by Dr Lloyd Trotter and Dr Peter Heagney. Over time, the practice expanded to include additional clinics in Floreat and Joondalup, making us one of the largest orthodontic practices in the Perth metropolitan area.
Following the retirement of Dr Trotter and Dr Heagney, leadership of the practice was entrusted to Dr Richard Cook, Dr Peter Dillon, and Dr Greg Brudenell. Dr Brudenell further extended the practice’s services to the Pilbara region. Like their predecessors, these partners remained deeply committed to excellence in orthodontics and played an active role in training future specialists.
After the retirement of Dr Peter Dillon and Dr Richard Cook, the practice welcomed their former students, Dr Phebe Sugiarto and Dr Gary Huang, in 2009. In early 2019, Dr Richard Lee joined the team, continuing our tradition of clinical excellence and mentorship. Today, Dr Phebe Sugiarto and Dr Richard Lee are actively involved in teaching and supervising dentists enrolled in the specialist orthodontic training program at the University of Western Australia.
Our Philosophy: Our team at BSH Orthodontics are dedicated to providing the highest standard of orthodontic care in a friendly and relaxed environment.
